The quandry - what to do on Halloween Eve?
Still hasn't determined what she wants to do tonight - dancing or staying home to recaulk a shower, paint a bedroom, and clean out the fish tank. I'm sure the fish would be happy if I stayed home to clean their home.

Happy Friday
Twas a wet and cloudy Friday as it often is throughout the Puget Sound region. Traffic was at a stand-still and people wore jackets and hoodies to avoid the rainy weather.

Guilt over purchasing subscription packages
I know the arts are hurting with the current state of the economy, but should I feel guilty when a local theater group calls me up, asking if I would like to purchase a subscription package to their upcoming season, and I tell them "No thanks, I am not interested"?

Alton Brown at Third Place Books
So a friend and I went to see Alton Brown at his book signing in Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, WA on Friday night. Considering that I had never heard of Alton Brown before this evening, I found him quite entertaining, and discovered that he doesn't prefer vegans or creating "Good Eats" episodes with subject matters around haggus or goat.
