The Butler household welcomes Spring 2012 with its first rat/cat encounter of the year. With four cats in and out of the house, lots of greenery, moss in the lawn, sidewalks, and roof, along with one or more neighbors that must have rats, we experienced our first inside-rat encounter last night. The cats brought one in, as I keep the inside/outside of the house as clean as I can.

Courtney Butler, the good sis that she is, kindly shewed the rat back into the great-damp outdoors. Let's see what other kinds of rodentia the felines will manage to bring in the rest of this year. :)
